1. About this policy

This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and browser storage currently used by https://kesbia.com and how optional Google Maps is controlled.

2. Essential technologies

Essential functions remain available when non-essential services are declined. WordPress and WooCommerce may use cookies required for cart, checkout, session and security functions where applicable.

  • kesbia_privacy_choice stores accepted or declined together with the current banner version for up to 180 days.
  • kesbia_favorites is local storage in the browser used to keep the user’s product favourites until they are removed or browser storage is cleared.

3. Optional Google Maps

Google Maps is the current optional external integration. The Contacts page does not create a Google Maps iframe before permission. Accept all permits the map to load automatically.

After Decline non-essential, the map remains blocked. The Load Google Maps button grants separate permission only for Google Maps and stores kesbia_google_maps_choice as allowed with the current version for up to 180 days. It does not change the main privacy choice to accepted.

4. Changing or withdrawing a choice

The Privacy choices button in the footer reopens the banner. Choosing Decline after Accept removes the Google Maps iframe from the open Contacts page and restores the placeholder. Closing the banner is treated as Decline non-essential.

A new banner version invalidates choices saved for an earlier version and asks for a choice again. Requests already sent to an external service before consent was withdrawn cannot be cancelled retroactively.

5. External links

The Open address in Google Maps link opens Google Maps in a new tab. Following that link is a direct visit to Google’s website and is governed by Google’s own terms and privacy information.

6. Analytics and advertising

The current website theme does not use optional analytics or advertising pixels. If this changes, this policy and the consent controls must be updated before those services are enabled.
